The 2026 World Cup features a brand new match schedule designed to accommodate the expanded 48-team format. Over a span of 39 days, a total of 104 matches will be played across three host nations: the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The tournament begins with a 72-match group stage from June 11 to June 27, featuring up to 6 matches per day. The top two teams from each group, along with the 8 best third-placed teams, then progress to the newly introduced Round of 32 knockout stage.
All match kickoff times displayed on our schedule are automatically converted to India Standard Time (IST) for your convenience, allowing you to follow every match of the tournament live without manual timezone conversions.
The opening match kicks off on June 11, 2026, at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The final will take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
Matches will be hosted across 16 world-class venues: 11 in the USA, 3 in Mexico, and 2 in Canada.
Due to the tournament expansion from 32 to 48 teams, the total number of matches increases from 64 in previous editions to 104 matches.
