About World Cup 2026

📋 The 2026 Edition

The 2026 World Cup is a watershed moment — expanding from 32 to 48 teams for the first time, introducing 12 groups of four, and spanning three host nations across North America.

The tournament is co-hosted by the United States (11 venues), Canada (2 venues), and Mexico (3 venues) — the first World Cup across three countries and Mexico's third hosting, making it the most-hosted nation in tournament history.

The group stage runs from June 11 to June 27. The final is at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 19, 2026.
